What is a Modular Barn?
A Modular Barn is a building that is designed in
modules. These modules allow maximum flexibility in building
design and construction. Modular concepts also lower building
costs. Because of the modular design barns can be built small at
first and later added onto without hassle. Modular barns can also
be moved around easily and even moved to an entirely new location.
How do these building compare to wood
structures?
First of all, our buildings are constructed from
steel making them stronger than wood. Steel construction also adds
other benefits such as fire resistance, easy maintenance, cleaning, and
the ability to weather the elements better than wood.
Are these "kit" buildings?
No. Barnmaster's buildings are not kit
buildings. Each building is custom designed and constructed to
meet your specific needs. However, the costs are comparable to so
called "kit" buildings only our buildings offer maximum flexibility and
use superior materials to "kits". Tri-County Barns' offers
affordable custom installation or you may choose to do it yourself or
have an outside contractor install your building for you.
Can I finance a building or barn?
Yes. However, Tri-County Barns does not have
in-house financing but we can recommend a leasing institution as well as
financial institutions who can help you.
Are these buildings just for horses?
No. Our buildings are used for all types of
animals and storage. Our barns and buildings have been used to
house cows, pigs, llamas, dogs, ostriches, camels, etc. Besides
animals, our buildings have been used as workshops and as storage for
RVs, boats, cars, and more.
Is there any kind of size limitations?
No. We can design and build you any size
barn or facility. In the past we have built single stall barns and
entire equestrian facilities.
My community has HOAs (Homeowner
Association). Can I have a barn built to conform to them?
We do have experience in helping you conform to
your HOAs. Our custom approach to the design of your barn along
with our modular concept will help you meet your HOAs.
I live in an environment that has specific
wind/snow loads for building and roofs.
All of Barnmaster's buildings are built to your
areas and environments standards. We design and engineer buildings
and barns with wind loads of up to 140 MPH and snow loads of up to 120
Pounds. Our barns and buildings have withstood major earthquakes,
hurricanes, and blizzards without structural damage. Our barns are
engineered to go into any environment from harsh deserts to high
mountains. Barnmaster's barns have survived through
earthquakes, floods and hurricanes.
